Mrs. Audrey Cedotal Griffin, age 75, of Lanett passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the EAMC Lanier Health Services Hospital in Valley.

Audrey was born September 10, 1941 to Paul A. Cedotal, Sr. and Coralie K. Cedotal.  She was married to William E. Griffin (Griff) on August 17, 1963.  She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007.  She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren and one great grandchild, Jacob M. Garcia.

Audrey was born in New Orleans, LA., where she lived most of her life.  In 2005, due to Hurricane Katrina, she relocated to Lanett, AL., where she was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2:00P.M. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with interment in Johnson Memorial Gardens.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7:00P.M. EST until 9:00P.M. EST and on Friday afternoon from 1:00P.M. EST until the service hour.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca L. (Larry) Gerdes, William M. (Debbie) Griffin, Gary B. (Rachel) Griffin; brothers, Paul A. (Vickie) Cedotal, Jr., Lawrence J. (Paula Jean) Cedotal; 10 grandchildren, Brandi L. Gerdes, Lacey M. Garcia, Mark R. Griffin, Paul J. Griffin, John W. Griffin, Adam C. Griffin, Luke B. Griffin, Eva J. Griffin, Rylee M. Griffin, Arianne Daniels; 4 great-grandchildren, Baily L. Gerdes, Marissa H. Garcia, Kylie E. Garcia, Evelyn G. Garcia; Godchildren, Anthony J. Cedotal and Lawrence A. Cedotal.
