Mrs. Celia Bowers Landreth, age 86, of Valley passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Landreth was born in Lanett, Alabama on April 27, 1930 to the late Roy Bowers and Sadie DeLoach Bowers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at 2:00P.M. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with interment in Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett.  The Rev. Tim Bass officiating.  Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00P.M. EST until 8:00P.M. EST. 

She is survived by her children, John C. Landreth, Valley, Richard (Tommy) Landreth, Valley, Cathy Boddie, Valley; brother, Ralph Bowers, Lanett; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; special friend, Tanya Hernandez and her three children.

Mrs. Landreth was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.  She had retired from West Point Stevens towel operations after 23 years and she later worked in Dr. Arvind Kamath's office for 9 years.  She loved her family very much.
