Mr. Darrell Eugene Culbertson, age 65, of Opelika, AL passed away on Monday, January 8th, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 1, 1952 in Butler, PA.

     Mr. Culbertson is survived by his wife, Linda Hutchison Culbertson; his five children, Darrell Culbertson, Jr., Danny Culbertson, Randall Culbertson, Ami Napier, and Lucas Culbertson; his three grandchildren; his two brothers, Randy Culbertson and Victor Culbertson; his four sisters, Holly Culbertson, Paula Purchase, Cynthia Madden, and Tina Culbertson.

     Mr. Culbertson was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army, with over 20 years of service.

     A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the service hour at the funeral home.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
