Jean Howell

      Mrs. Jean Howell, 75, of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL. She was born on May 3rd, 1942 in Clay County, AL.

     Mrs. Howell is survived by her six children, James (Elizabeth Cartee) Hanner, Lloyd (Nina) Hanner, Sandra (Gary) Mitchell, Jerry (Dianne) Hanner, Christy (Don) Williams, and Eric Hanner; her three siblings, Clifford (Eulamae) Heath, Bill (Glenda) Heath, and Hilton Heath; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, and four siblings.

     Mrs. Howell loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a member of Three Pines Baptist Church in Lanett, AL, where she was the church pianist for many years. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds, visiting with friends and family, and playing the piano.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Ron Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
