Jennie Lou Bailey Morrison, 88, of Valley, AL died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and her loving husband, Billie Morrison.

Born September 7, 1929 in Langdale, AL, Mrs. Morrison spent many of her years serving others as a cosmetologist, church hostess, and in the school cafeteria.  She was a woman of strong faith who loved her family deeply, her church and her community.  She felt that every generation of babies “got sweeter and sweeter”.

Visitation will be Monday, September 25, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with services to be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM EST from West End Baptist Church in Valley with the Rev. Brad Reed officiating.  Burial will follow at Johnson Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Morrison is survived by her four children, Pamela Cannon of Valley, AL, William Joel Keel (Wendy) of St. Petersburg Beach, FL, Sam Dean Keel (Babbette) of Wellington, FL, and Toni Morrison Long (Eddie) of Opelika, AL; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and special friend, Linda Davis.

Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her parents, William Forney Bailey and Ruby Florine Crenshaw Bailey; her husband, SFC Billie Mack Morrison USA Ret.; sister, Jean Abernathy; and great-grandson, David Carroll.
