Mrs. Jewell Magdeline Isbell, 81, a resident of Valley, AL passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at EAMC at Lanier.  Funeral services will be Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM EST at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with Pastor Amy Messer officiating.  Burial will be at Kendrick Cemetery/Pleasant Ridge in Dunnavant, AL (Shelby County) at 2:00 PM EST.  Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST at the funeral home. 

Survivors include five children, Darlene Barnes (James), Robert Allen Isbell (Deona), Paulette Shaddix (Wayne), Lisa Hoyle (Richard), & Lynn Murphy (Chris); 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchild; brother, Raymond Aldridge.  Mrs. Isbell was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe & Florence Aldridge; her husband, Robert Lee Isbell; son, Steven Earl Isbell; grandson, Corey Neal Murphy; two sisters; and two brothers. 

Mrs. Isbell was born in Leeds, AL on December 21, 1935.  She was a member of the Riverview Pentecostal Church of God.
