Jimmy Lee Meadows Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Lee Meadows, 80, a resident of Lanett, AL passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Cusseta, AL. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM EST at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett with Rev. Eddie Striblin officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 7:00 PM EST at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. On Saturday, the family and friends will assemble at the cemetery.

Mr. Meadows is survived by his sister-in-law, Marrell (James) Miles; nephews, Keith, Kenny & Nicholas Miles; and his caregiver, Linda Gale Moody. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Mitchell Meadows and a son, Chris Meadows.

He was a painter and liked to go to yard sales, and was a passionate Alabama football fan. He loved his caregiver, and her children and grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice.
