Kavya Amara Meka passed away on October 28, 2017 at the Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, AL. She was born on October 27, 2017 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

     Kavya is survived by her parents, Drs. Sarat Meka and Ruby Powar; her brother, Teghan Ramiah Meka; her grandparents, Dr. Rao & Sulochana Meka and Malkiat & Kamaljit Powar; her aunt and uncle, Sravanthi Meka and Sunny Powar.

     Sarat and Ruby were proud of their Kavya. She was strong, a fighter, feisty and beautiful. Her parents did not have the time that they would want with her but she had her own plan. She was with her father ‘til the end and will be daddy’s little girl eternally. May she Rest In Peace. May her parents rest knowing they have an angel in heaven.

     The family will hold a visitation in memory of Kavya in Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 12:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL.
