Mr. Monty Chase, age 62, of the Lake Harding Community, AL passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at EAMC Lanier Nursing Home in Valley, AL. He was born on July 9, 1955 in Langdale, AL.

     Mr. Chase is survived by his mother, Eddie Chase; his two children, Margaret Elizabeth (Ricky) Daniel and James Christopher Chase; his grandson, Adam Allen Bryan; his brother, Hal (Janice) Chase; and his uncle, Jeff (Sharon) Burnett.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chick” Chase.

     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the graveside in Shawmut Cemetery in Valley, AL with the Rev. Rusty Letson officiating. The family will receive friends in the cemetery following the service.

     Mr. Chase was of the Methodist faith and loved spending time with his grandson.
