It comes with pure and absolute sadness to announce the passing of David J Henson of West Point, GA. David passed away in his home Monday evening, August 14, 2017.

David is survived by his wife, and childhood sweetheart, Karen Paschal Henson; his beautiful daughters, Krista Henson Whiteley; and Britney Henson Perez; son-in-laws, Tyler Whiteley and Jayson Perez, his mother and father Hazel White Henson and James Henson of Pine Mountain, GA; his Brother Phillip Henson and wife Lisa Wright Henson;   mother and father-in-laws, Faye and Holland Paschal of Valley, AL; and many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and cousins.  

David was a devoted husband, loving father, passionate son, loyal brother, and the coolest uncle, cousin, and friend anyone could ever imagine.  David was a graduate of Lagrange College and a member of Union Baptist Church, where he played the piano and served as a Deacon for many years. David wrote the book on how to be a husband, a father, a son, a brother, and a friend. We mourn his passing, but celebrate his amazing love and life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18^th, 2017 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with interment following in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.  His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT.
