Mr. George W. Moody, age 68, of Valley passed away on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 at his residence in Valley.

Mr. Moody was born, an only child, in Andalusia, Alabama on November 16th, 1948 to the late George Labon Moody and Mabel Patterson Moody. 

He was an avid University of Alabama Football fan.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Moody is survived by his wife, Connie Mote Moody, Valley; children, Mike (Ange) Moody, Smith Station, Kym Moody (Bob) English, Phenix City, Scott Moody, Atlanta, GA., Nikki Moody, South Carolina, Alicia Moody (Jay) Bonner, Biloxi, MS., Jared Helms, Alpharetta, GA., Amber Helms (David) Carter, Tallapoosa, GA.; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
