Mr. Jimmie A. Boone of Valley, AL was born July 20, 1950 in Langdale, AL. He gained his angel wings on December 20, 2017 at his home surrounded by close family.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Cynthia Walker; children, Lisa Perez (Rafael), Jeremy Boone, Janice Boone May, Jessica Farr, April Williams (Lamar), and Ryan Boone; step-children, Donnie Reeves (Sherri) and Rachel Myers (Dustin) and 13 grandchildren whom he adored along with other relatives and many special friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jim Boone, mother, Ruby Mosley, brother, Joe Boone, grandchild, Rachael Perez and special friend, Denise Sudduth.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM EST from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL with Reverend Jim Wilson officiating. Jimmie will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.  Visitation will be from 10:00 -11:00 AM EST Saturday prior to the service.  Pallbearers will be Cody Knight, Miguel Perez, Franklin Holmes, Frank Holmes Jr., Tyler Holmes and Melvin Childs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the cancer charity of your choice.
