The family of June Nelson Garner, (Dooley or Nick), age 96, are saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday Nov. 22, 2016.  He was predeceased by his wife Austa and son Ronald.

He leaves behind his son James Garner, (Margaret) and daughter Sherry Midgett, (Tom); 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Nick proudly served in the Army/Air Force during World War II from 1941 to 1945.

Nick and his wife were proud owners of This Old House Yard Sale in the Beulah Community.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11:00A.M. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.  His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00A.M. EST until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers donations make donations to Bill Nichols State Veterans Home, 1784 Elkahatchee Road, Alexander City, Ala 35010.
