Mrs. Euna Noles Grubbs, age 87, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.

Mrs. Grubbs was born in Wadley, Alabama on April 19th, 1930 to the late William L. and Gladys Noles.

She was a member of the Plant City Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama for over sixty-eight years.  She was a generous and giving person who served her Lord faithfully.  She taught Sunday school for over sixty years and served as chairman of the benevolence committee for many years. She loved helping people and especially enjoyed working in the social services department at Lanier Hospital where she was able to reach out to families in their time of need.  She loved gardening and giving her harvest to others.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Mrs. Grubbs is survived by her son, Phillip (Janice) Grubbs of Lanett, Alabama; grandsons, Shayne Grubbs of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Stephen (Amanda) Grubbs of Lanett, Alabama, and Josh (Lera) Grubbs of Lanett, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Nathan Grubbs, Natalie Grubbs, and Noah Grubbs of Lanett, Alabama, Harper Grubbs and Tristan Grubbs of Opelika, Alabama, and Sadie Grubbs of Lanett, Alabama; brother, Larry (Kim) Noles of Maryville, Tennessee; sister, Linda Cottle of Selma, Alabama; many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

Mrs. Grubbs was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, William J. (Billy) Grubbs, her grandson, Patrick Jared Grubbs, her brother, Rudolph Noles; great-grandchildren, Patrick Cordell Grubbs, Tanner Lewis Grubbs, and Savannah Grace Grubbs.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. EDT at the Plant City Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama.  Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.  The Reverend Brad Reed, the Reverend Stephen Grubbs, and the Reverend Larry Noles will officiate the service.  Her family will be receiving friends at the church on Wednesday from 12:30 P.M. EDT until the service hour.
