Mrs. Linda Diane Humphrey

Mrs. Linda Diane Humphrey, age 64, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Monday, April 16^th, 2018 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley.

Mrs. Humphrey was born on May 2^nd, 1953 in Opelika, Alabama to the late Henry Pruitt and Lena Bell Pruitt.

Mrs. Humphrey was a graduate of Opelika High School and Southern Union Community College.  She spent many working with children in childcare and returned to college later in life receiving a degree in Early Childhood Development. 

She was a member of the Fairfax United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Lynn Humphrey; son, Stephen Humphrey; sister, Janice Marie (Joe) McKee; nieces and nephews, Bobby Jo McKee, Michael McKee, Tia White, and Trent Humphrey; one great-niece; four great-nephews; Aunt, Betty Ann (Roy Lee) Murphy. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19^th, 2018 at 11:00A.M. EDT at the Fairfax United Methodist Church with interment following in Fairview Cemetery.  The Reverend Paul Messer officiating.  Her family will be receiving friends at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley Wednesday evening from 5:00P.M. EDT until 7:00P.M. EDT.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her name to the Fairfax United Methodist Church, 901 Boulevard, Valley, Alabama 36854.
