Nanne Taylor-Ford, age 77, of Ozark, Alabama entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Lanett, Alabama.

“Mrs. Nanne”, as she was fondly called, was born in Valley, Alabama on November 14, 1939 to the late Aubrey Lynwood Taylor and Georgie Irene Brannon Taylor.  She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Allen “Sonny” Ford, son William Travis Holloway and brother Arnold Lynwood Taylor.

Those who were fortunate to know her will remember her as the sweet little lady that was always smiling and had a hug for everyone.  She had a vision for being able to create some of the most unique pieces of art out of items that others would have thrown away. She shared this same vision for people too.

She was a proud graduate of Southern Union State Junior College with an Associates in Arts Degree.

She is survived by her daughters, Nannette (Devon) Brooks, Valley, Allison (Chris) Woodard, Ozark, and Kim Freeman, Lanett; grandchildren MarDe Brooks and Daniel (Sarah) Brooks, Valley, Trae (Deanna) Holloway and Nicole Holloway, Asbury, North Carolina, Larra (Shawn) Headlee, Lexington, South Carolina, Jonathan (Cassie Ortiz) Wynn, Montgomery, Lane Wynn, Troy, Jeorgie Wynn, Madalyn Woodard, and Britnay Woodard of Ozark, Nikki Foster and Danielle Antley, Lanett; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM EDT at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Valley with the Reverends Jonathan Herston and Perry Duffey officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM EDT.
