Mr. Robert Kemp “Bobby” Poss, age 57, of LaFayette, AL passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his residence.

     Mr. Poss is survived by his mother and step-father, Carrie and Billy Langford; his three children, Samantha (John) Webb, Robby (Carmen) Lusk, and Michelle (Jimmy) Tidwell; his three grandchildren, Kristina Young, Russell Young, and Apsen Lusk; his six sisters, Becky (Kenny) Hart, Lisa (Billy) Thurmond, Carol (Mark) Harrison, Linda (Tim) Herron, Susan (Joe) Hancock, and Sally (John) Love; his three brothers, Ed Poss, Mickey (Kathy) Poss, and Brian Poss; his twenty-two nieces and nephews, Sharon Cole, Melissa Barkley, Joey Cook, Christopher Castleberry, Matthew Castleberry, Scott White, Luke Harrison, Natasha Cannon, Jennifer Clark, Nicholas Walker, Leigh Hancock, Matthew Hancock, Austin Hancock, Virginia Hancock, Jessica Haynes, Cody Kirkland, Collin Poss, Corey Poss, Coleman Poss, Kayla Poss, Brianna Poss and Hannah poss.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Lee Poss, Sr.; two brothers, Howard Lee Poss, Jr. and Marcus Reid Poss; and his niece, Trina Lynn Poss.

     Mr. Poss was born on November 26, 1959 in Austell, GA. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Poss was an electrician by trade. He was a people person who enjoyed drawing and telling jokes. He was an avid fisherman and loved all types of cars. He was a loving and attentive son, a wonderful brother, and an awesome uncle who was never too busy to help a member of his family.

     Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 5, at 4:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 6, at 1:00 PM (EST) at the Roswell Cemetery in Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Austin Hancock, Josh Dye, Nicholas Walker, Corey Poss, Collin Poss, and Cole Barkley.
