     Mr. Steve “Duck” Billingsley, age 70, of Lanett, AL passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at his residence.

     Mr. Billingsley is survived by his two sons, Zach (Hannah) Billingsley of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Jacob (Sara) Billingsley of Gainesville, GA; his five grandchildren, Emerson Billingsley, Wyatt Billingsley, Wynne Billingsley, Thompson Billingsley, and Reid Billingsley; his five siblings, Richard Billingsley, Susan Howard, Debbie (Wes) Rookstool, Becky (Barry) Shemwell, and Bill Billingsley; numerous nieces and nephews; his special friend, Richard Glazier.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Billingsley and Martha Billingsley; and his sister, Brenda Hamby.

     Mr. Billingsley was born on March 19, 1946 in Oxford, AL. He was an avid Alabama fan and NASCAR fan. He loved fishing, the lake, being in the outdoors, and working in his garden.

     A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Veasey Creek Park Boat Ramp Pavilion on West Point Lake with Evangelist Van Billingsley officiating. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM (EST) at the Pavilion.
