Ms. Vivian Bitzegaio, age 95, passed away at home in Cusseta, Alabama on September 6, 2017 after a short illness.  She was born in Evansville, Indiana on August 25, 1922.

Ms. Vivian was a member of Langdale United Methodist Church in Valley, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Hart; son-in-law, Wayne Hart; and grandson, Doug Hart.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Judi (C. L.) Prow of Lomita, CA; Debbi (Ted) McConnell of Cusseta, AL; four grandchildren, Mark (Jennifer) Prow of Bakersfield, CA; Lisa (Michael) Mattea of Lomita, CA; Michele (Michael) Moore of Opelika, AL; and Virginia (Craig) Phillips of Hazel Green, AL; and six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Spenser Prow, Autumn and Emily Moore, and Dalton and Dillon Phillips. She is also survived by Jodi Bitzegaio of Bayfield, CO.

Everyone who knew Ms. Vivian will miss her kindness, compassion, and loving spirit.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 14th at 2:00 pm EDT at Langdale United Methodist Church, Valley, AL. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Interfaith Food Closet, The Bread Basket, or the Barrel of Love through Langdale United Methodist Church, Valley, AL or Chattahoochee Hospice.
