Mrs. Arline Landrum Redmond, 99, of Lanett, AL passed away peacefully on December 20th, 2018 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, James Edgar Redmond, who passed away on December 20th, 1998. She was also prededed by her parents, John Wesley Landrum and wife, Betty of LaFayette, AL; three brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her son, James R. Redmond and his wife Connie of Loudon, TN; her daughter, Joan Redmond Love and her husband Gary Love of Bossier City, LA; her four grandchildren, Shane Brown of LaGrange, GA, Kevin Redmond of Cordorva, TN, Kelly Richmond of Lexington, KY, and Tiffany Love Ellis of Bossier City, LA; her seven great grandchildren, Zach, Ashlyn, Sheridan, Landrum, Gavin, Anna, and Parker; her great-great granddaughter, Brinleigh; several nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018 at 4:00 PM (EST) at the First Baptist Church of Lanett, AL. The Reverend Ronnie Jordan will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s or to the First Baptist Church of Lanett in her memory.
