A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY

Belton's family wishes to offer their sincerest appreciation for all of the support they have received from friends and family during such a tender time in their lives.

Mr. Belton McCrackin, Jr., age 65, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Saturday, July 21^st, 2018 in Valley, Alabama.

Mr. McCrackin was born on April 10^th, 1953 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Belton McCrackin, Sr. of Conway, South Carolina and Opal Pike McCrackin of Valley, Alabama.  Belton is the grandson of the late Reverend Paul Pike and Thelma Pike and Mr. and Mrs. William Walker McCrackin of Conway, South Carolina.

Belton was retired from the West Point Pepperell Company. 

Belton is survived by his sister, Sharon McCrackin Bledsoe and her husband, Carl; nephews, J. Matt Bledsoe and J. Mark Bledsoe; three great-nieces; twenty-four cousins, aunts, uncles, and many special friends who all mourn his passing.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 27^th, 2018 at 11:00A.M. EDT at the Lanett Congregational Christian Church, where he held his church membership.  The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 10:00A.M. EDT until the service hour.  

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in Belton’s memory to the EAMC Oncology Department in Opelika, Alabama.
