Betty Ann Hill Anglin

     Mrs. Betty Ann Hill Anglin, age 84, of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019 at her residence. She was born on January 29th, 1935 in Chambers County, AL to the late Luther and Effie Hill.

     Mrs. Anglin is survived by her four daughters, Kathy (Randy) Norred, Charlotte Hollis, Wanda (Toney) Smith, and Tammy (Dennis) Anglin; her eleven grandchildren, Christopher (Lauren) Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Madison Norred, Britney Hamby, Katie Hollis, Jessica (Jason) Green, Mitchell Yarbrough, Daniel (Sandra) Smith, Melissa Smith, Adam (Abbie) Young, and Garrett (Brittney) Young; her fifteen great grandchildren, Eli Thompson, Lawton Thompson, Rylie Yates, Asher Caldwell, Ayden Hamby, Easton Hamby, Landon Hamby, Adalyn Hamby, Collin Hamby, Kensleigh Green, Katlyn Smith, Makenna Kelley, Evan Young, Charleigh Young, and Janna Young; her two brothers, Grover Hill and Richard (Wynema) Hill; several nieces and nephews; her faithful dog, Harley.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-five years, Otis Leon Anglin; her grandson, Michael Yarbrough; two brothers, William Hill and Frank Hill; her sister, Dean Matthews; her faithful dog, Sassy.

     Mrs. Anglin was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church in Valley where she was a youth leader with her husband for many years. She retired from West Point Pepperell after forty-eight years of service. She enjoyed helping at the Interfaith Food Closet in Valley, camping, and watching the Atlanta Braves. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 22nd, 2019 at 4:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley, AL. Interment will follow in Fairfax Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
