Clay Crawford

     Mr. Clay Crawford, age 57, of Pine Mountain, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 at his residence. He was born on August 2nd, 1961 in Langdale, AL.

     Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Kathryn Lane Crawford; his children, Laura Bentley (Jake) Snowden and Lane Wilson Crawford; his cousins, Manley (Annette) Hodges, Trey (Vicki) Hodges, and John (Bobby Ann) McCollough; a host of nieces and nephews; his extended family, the family of Steve Brazell and the family of Tommy Lane.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Barbara Crawford; his grandparents, Bill Joe and Elsie Crawford and Robert and Mattie Pearl Wilson.

     Mr. Crawford was a member of Langdale United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Springwood School who enjoyed working on his farm, and watching Auburn Football and Monday night wrestling. He loved his twin children, his wife, his family, his church, and to give hugs.

     A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 at 3:00 PM (EST) at the Langdale United Methodist Church. The Reverends Rusty Tate and Paul Messer will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the church.
