Cody Jones Obituary

Cody Jones passed away on September 18th, 2019 at the age of 23 at the Piedmont Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Cody was the son of Eugene and Patty Jones and Serena Clester.

He was born on August 4th, 1996. He was a very special person to all who knew him. He liked to listen and dance to music. He was known for his quick wit and his kind, compassionate spirit.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandmother, Iona Clester and great grandparents, John and Vivian Weldon and his uncle, Bobby Ray Jones. He leaves his parents, Eugene and Patty Jones and mother, Serena Clester; two sisters, Katie (Jason) George and Anna (Carlos) Porter; three brothers, Casey Burke, William (LeAnna) Jones, and Steven Sims; one niece and two nephews; grandparents, Gene and Marie Jones and John and Cindy Ellison.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 at 3:00 PM (EDT) at the Huguley United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Reverend Rusty Williams and the Reverend John Eldridge, Sr. will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM (EDT) until the service hour at the church.
