Danny Staples

     Mr. Danny Staples, age 65, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. He was born on August 12th, 1954 in Valley, Alabama to the late Edith and Jack Staples.

     Mr. Staples is survived by wife, Lisa Nelson Staples; his children, Tabatha Garcia, Ryan (Mabel) Miller, Summer (Daniel) Ruff, Tristan Nelson, Misty Staples, and Eric Staples; his grandchildren, Yolanda Adams, Maya Richardson, Xzavious Crim, Patience Staples, Dominiquec Johnson, Ty McCants, and Jacob Ruff; his great grandchildren, Conner Adams, Lincoln Adams, and Parker Staples; his favorite pet, Little Bit.

     Mr. Staples was an active member of Calvary Family Worship Center in Valley, Alabama. He was the owner / operator of Danny Staples Appliance in Lanett for over thirty years. He was a sweet man who had a big heart and was always good to everyone. He loved his family and his church, and was a wonderful husband, dad and granddad.

     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 at 3:00 PM (EDT) at the Calvary Family Worship Center in Valley. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Pastor LaVerne Cotney will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 PM (EDT) until the service hour at the church.
