Mr. David Wayne Westmoreland, 65, a resident of Salem, AL passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.  A memorial service will be Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 3:30 PM EST from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL with Rev. Rusty Letson officiating.  The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mr. Westmoreland is survived by two daughters, Amy Cluelow (Jayson) and Kelly Bone (Chad); three grandchildren, Hunter & John Cluelow and Brooklyn Bone; sister, Sheron Hughes; nephew, Chris Lee (Erin); great nephews, Nicholas & Patrick Lee; and a host of friends. 

Mr. Westmoreland was born in Atlanta, GA on February 22, 1952.  He liked to fish and watch Alabama and Georgia football.  He was a loving father and grandfather.  He was of the Christian faith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
