Gordon Saylor Obituary

Mr. Gordon Lee Saylor, age 53, of Valley, AL passed away on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 at the Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL. He was born on October 29, 1964 in Lee County, AL.

Mr. Saylor is survived by his mother, Julia Saylor; his son, Jeremy Ray (Heidi Westfall) Saylor; his grandson, Caysen Rayne Saylor; his three siblings, Lorrayne (Keith) Blackmon, Phillip Ray “Bubba” Saylor, Jr., and Cynthia Saylor; his nephew, Jacob Blackmon; his friend, Allison Cole.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Ray Saylor, Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at 2:00 PM (CST) at the Pine Grove Methodist Church in Opelika, AL. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM (CST) until the service hour at the church.

Mr. Saylor was an avid University of Alabama fan and of the Baptist faith.
