Mr. Hugh Reynolds, 90, a resident of Eclectic, AL passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL.  Graveside services will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 12:00 Noon EST at the Fairfax Cemetery in Valley, AL with Rev. Ray Weaver officiating.  The family will receive friends after the graveside service at the Fairfax United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Donnis E. Reynolds; two children, Marc Reynolds (Judi) & Linda R. Hill; three grandchildren, Lindsay Hill, Joanna Reynolds, & Laura H. Curtis (J.B.); two great-grandchildren, Sam & Jack; one brother, Donald Reynolds; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Marie Reynolds; grandson, Sam Reynolds, and two brothers, Charles & Bill Reynolds. 

Mr. Reynolds was born in Fairfax, AL on April 10, 1927 and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.  He retired from the State of Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control Board and was a member of the Fairfax Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elmore County Humane Society or to one’s favorite charity.
