James M. "Jimmy" Scott Obituary

Mr. James M. “Jimmy” Scott, age 64, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Scott is survived by his son, Brian Christopher Scott; his grandson, Joseph Bolt; his mother, Lillian Scott; his three siblings, Harold (Merry Carol) Scott, Beverly (Lee) Smith, and Don (Terri) Scott; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Scott.

Mr. Scott was born on February 24th, 1955 in Langdale, Alabama. He was a member of the West End Baptist Church in Valley, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 31st, 2019 at 11:30 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Pastor Don Downs and Pastor Floyd Aikens will officiate. Interment will follow in Shawmut Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:30 AM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Kindred Hospice or to the West End Baptist Church Building Fund in his memory.
