Jeffrey W. Harper

Jeffrey W. Harper, age 49, of Newnan, Georgia passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 24^th, 2018.

Mr. Harper was born on September 6^th, 1968 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Gerald Owen Harper and Alice Pieratt Harper.  He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Mary Price and John B. Harper and Bernice Harper.

Mr. Harper was of the Christian faith.  He was a substitute teacher in Newnan, Georgia.

He loved to travel the world and was fluent in many languages.  He enjoyed meeting new and different people wherever he traveled.

He is survived by his sister, Angela H. (Chuck) Goodwin; aunt and uncle, June and Phillip Majors; nieces, Candace (Travis) Yarbrough, Carmen (Josh) Scroggins; great-niece, Hanley Grace Yarbrough. 

Services will be held on Thursday, April 26^th, 2018 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley.  The Reverend Chuck Goodwin officiating.  His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00P.M. EDT until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in his name to the Fairfax Baptist Church Daycare Program, 512 Denson Street, Valley, Alabama 36854.
