Ms. Jerri Lynn Simpson Horn, formerly of Lanett, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Laurel, Mississippi on December 6th at the age of 47. Lynn was born December 21, 1969 in Newton County Georgia to Barbara and Jerry Simpson.

     Lynn was a truck driver and loved seeing the different areas of the country. Lynn loved animals especially horses and her Chihuahua Keena. She loved her family and cherished the time that she got to spend talking to them or visiting with them. She was the goofy child in the family and she would do anything that she could to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by her family as well as many others.

     She is preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother Timothy Simpson.

     She is survived by her brother Donnie Simpson of Lanett, her sisters Joyce (Ray) Ooten Laurel, Ms., Sandra (Tim) Spears Monroe, Ga., Pam (Andy) Long Birmingham, Al. as well as many nieces and nephews.

      A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 1:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley, AL with the Rev. Rusty Letson officiating.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Following the service Lynn will be interred at Resthaven Cemetery alongside of her parents and brother.
