Mr. Jimmy Lee Mills, 79 of Lanett, AL passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 after a long illness.  He was born September 23, 1937at Sargent, GA.  Funeral services will be at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley on Tuesday, July 25 at 2:00 PM EST with Rev. Wayne Prickett officiating.   Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens. 

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Diane B. Mills; children, James Andrew Mills of Newnan, GA; Shannon Mills Overby (Robby) of Palmetto, GA; five grandchildren, two special grandsons, Andrew & Devon; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Willingham (Gene) of Lanett, AL, Sandra Lewis (Sonny) of Newnan, GA; brother, Mickey Mills of Moreland, GA; a number of nieces and nephews and two very dear friends, Willie & Pauline Parker of Moreland, GA.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Lee & Gladys Proctor Mills; a sister, Nancy Elaine Mills; two brothers, Jerry Ray Mills, and Bobby Kenneth Mills; two sisters-in-law, Mary Frances Mills and Shirley Diane Mills and a nephew, Christopher DeWayne Willingham.

Pallbearers will be Jody Lewis, Andrew Sorrells, Brian Lewis, Devon Arrington, Mike Mills, Kevin Crawley.  Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Parker, Eddie Ussery, Tony White, Jerry Payne, Randy Atkins, and Tim Mills. 

Mr. Mills was a member of the Baptist faith.  He was a truck driver and loved NASCAR racing.
