Mr. Jody Wilkerson, age 49, of Valley, AL passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018. He was born on December 16th, 1968 in Valley, AL.

Mr. Wilkerson is survived by his wife, Robin Wilkerson; five children, Zane Plair, Tyler Wilkerson, Kenadie Wilkerson, Dylan (Kerra) Aikens, and Sierra (Justin) Wood; one grandchild, Cayson Aikens; two grandchildren on the way; mother, Deborah Wilkerson; father, Garey Wilkerson; brother, Kevin (Dell) Wilkerson; sister, Deborah (John) Mitchell; nieces, Bailey Wilkerson and Jordan Wilkerson; nephews, Devin Wilkerson and Brett Wilkerson; great-niece, Austyn Wilkerson.

Mr. Wilkerson was a huge University of Alabama fan who loved to hunt and fish.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at 4:00 PM (EDT) at the Beulah Baptist Church. The Reverend Mitchell Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 3:00 PM (EDT) until the service hour at the church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Chattahoochee Hospice, or to the charity of one’s choice in his memory.
