Mrs. Margaret Kent Andrews, age 84, of Valley, AL went to her heavenly home on January 17th, 2018. She was born on July 20th, 1933 in Lanett, AL.

     Mrs. Andrews is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jerry Andrews; her seven children, Lynn (Gerald) Clark, Jamie (Jackie) Andrews, Larry (Laurie Beth) Andrews, Terry (Barbara) Andrews, Donna (William) Johnson, Tony Andrews, and Jody (Patricia) Andrews; her fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Andrews; and her grandson, Joshua Andrews.

     Mrs. Andrews was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She retired from Interstate Telephone Company after many years of service. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family and following her grandchildren to all their ballgames and rodeos. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who spent her whole life serving others.

     Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21st, 2018 at the 3:00 PM (EST) at the graveside in Fairview Cemetery in Valley, AL with the Rev. Lanny Sledge officiating. The family will receive friends in the cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Riverview Baptist Church in her memory.
