Mary Ann McEachern

     Mrs. Mary Ann McEachern, age 82, of Bessemer, AL, formerly, of Fairfax, AL, passed away on Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 at the Oaks on Parkwood in Bessemer. She was born on February 8th, 1937 in Broaden, AL to the late James Cecil Dabbs and Lois Dabbs.

     Mrs. McEachern is survived by her husband, Reverend Byron McEachern; her two sons, Charles (Alyce) McEachern and Tim (Lisa) McEachern; her four grandchildren, Kelly (Travis) Crunk, Daniel McEachern, Emily (Will) Min, and Travis McEachern; her great grandson, Jacob Min; her brother, James Walter (Carolyn) Dabbs.

     Mrs. McEachern was an avid Auburn University fan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Point, GA. She played the organ and piano and taught Sunday school for many years. She was the epitome of Proverbs 31. She had a beautiful smile and was a fantastic pastor’s wife.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at 10:00 AM (EST) at the First Baptist Church of West Point. Dr. Thomas Tucker will officiate. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:00 AM (EST) until the service hour at the First Baptist Church of West Point.
