Minnie Bee Camp Obituary

Mrs. Minnie Bee Camp, age 94, of Huguley, Alabama passed away on Thursday, August 29th, 2019 at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home in Valley, Alabama. She was born on December 22nd, 1924 in Randolph County, Alabama to the late Roscoe and Melinda Akins.

Mrs. Camp is survived by her three children, Sara (Danny) Rodriguez, Larry Camp, and Jerry (Sandra) Camp; her nine grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her brother, Roscoe Akins, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Camp; her grandson, Tim Taunton; her parents; six of her siblings.

Mrs. Camp enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at 11:00 AM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 AM (EDT) until the service hour at the funeral home.
