Mr. Alvin Richard Billingsley, Sr., age 76, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Sunday, August 4th, 2019 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley.

Mr. Billingsley was born in Langdale, Alabama on October 4^th, 1942 to the late Alvin O. Billingsley and Martha Rearden Billingsley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hill Billingsley and a son, Van Billingsley.

Mr. Billingsley enjoyed fishing, drawing, and collecting Indian artifacts.

He is survived by his children, Sharon B. (Chuck) Cowart of LaGrange, Rickey (Darlene) Billingsley of Beulah; grandchildren, Ashton Cowart, Charles Cowart, Erica B. McCormick, Emily B. Sheffield, Erin B. Davidson; 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are private.
