Mr. Clifford Lynn, age 77, of Valley, Alabama went to be home with the Lord at 11:30P.M. Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 at the Bethany House in Auburn.
He was born in Langdale, Alabama on March 4th, 1941 to the late Olin Lynn and Francis Clem Lynn. He was also preceded in death by two very special people; his grandson, Blake Lynn; his son-in-law, Neil Fuller.
Mr. Lynn graduated from Valley High School and Columbus Technical School, where he specialized in Tool and Die Making. He went into business for himself in 1973 opening the Custom Machine and Fabrication Shop in West Point, Georgia. He retired from the daily operations at age 57.
After retirement, he purchased a farm in Cusseta, where he raised vegetables, fruit trees, and honey bees. He was always happy to share his bounty with all of his friends and family.
Mr. Lynn was a member of the Fairfax First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was very active in Sunday school and on the Building and Grounds Committee.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Fetner Lynn; son, Ricky (Tamra) Lynn, daughter, Tanya Lynn Fuller; grandchildren, Zachary (Melissa) Lynn, Madyson Greenwood, Caryn (Blake) Davis, Katelyn Fuller, Kelsey Fuller; great-grandchildren, Lexie, Kaylie, Olivia, and Rhett.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 at 2:00P.M. EST at the Fairfax First Baptist Church with interment following in Johnson Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Steve York and the Reverend Randall Hamer officiating. His family will be receiving friends at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley Friday evening from 5:00P.M. EST until 7:00P.M. EST.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in Mr. Lynn’s memory to the Fairfax First Baptist Church.
