Mr. David J. Reach

Mr. David J. Reach, age 47, of Beulah passed away on Saturday, December 28th, 2019 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley.

Mr. Reach was born in Columbus, Georgia on February 12th, 1972.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Reach, Jr. and two nephews, Jonathan and Curt Hemmings.

David was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church.

He graduated from Beulah High School in 1991 and went on to Southern Union where he completed a technical degree program in welding.

David loved all sports, enjoyed playing sports, and loved the beach.  He was an avid Auburn University football fan and loved racing.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Reach; sisters, Macy Brewer, Melinda (Tye) Weldon; niece, Katie Reach; nephews, T.J. (Jordan) Newman, Jake Weldon; great nephews, Carter Grant and Camden Grant; great niece, Scarlett Newman; special aunt and uncle, Babs and Sammy Chambers; uncles, Archie, Joe, and Jack Reach; numerous cousins and other extended family members.

Services will be held on Sunday, January 5th, 2020 at 3:00P.M. EST /2:00P.M. CST at the Beulah Baptist Church. His family will be receiving friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00P.M. EST/1:00P.M. CST until the service hour. The Reverend Mitchell Smith and the Reverend Jim Dykes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Beulah Baptist Church in David’s memory or request that you send potted plants, if you wish to send a floral tribute.
