Mr. Donald Newman, age 80, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 4^th, 2017 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama.

Mr. Newman was born on October 21^st, 1937 in Elmore County, Alabama to the late Calvin Byrd Newman and Viola Lucretia Cato Newman. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie B. Newman.

Mr. Newman was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Valley.  He retired from the Uniroyal Company and later from the Chambers County School System, where he was a bus driver.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and softball.

He is survived by his children, Tracy (Susan) Newman, Valley, Tony D. Newman, Valley, Terry Newman, Valley, Mike Parrish, Valley; grandchildren, Ashley Newman, Lacy Newman, Tracy Newman, Jr., T.J. Newman; great-grandchildren, Taylor White, Luke White, Olivia White.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 9^th, 2017 at 10:00A.M. EST at the Fairview Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim Bass officiating.  The family will be receiving friends at the church immediately following the service.
