Mr. Edward “Eddie” Hollis Alewine, Jr., age 65, of Valley passed away on Sunday, January 6^th, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Alewine was born in Langdale, Alabama on March 28^th, 1953 to the late Edward Hollis Alewine, Sr. and Margie Bailey Alewine. He was also preceded in death by his son Christopher Alewine.

Mr. Alewine enjoyed working on older cars and tractors that he would restore and sell. He loved traveling, especially to the mountains. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shelly Alewine; children, Tonya McGraw, Brandy (Daniel) Booth; siblings, Billy Wayne Alewine and Sallie Ann Alewine; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9^th, 2019 at 2:00P.M. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. His family will be receiving fiends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00P.M. EST until 8:00P.M. EST.
