Mr. Howard Shurden Obituary

Mr. Howard Shurden, age 74, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.

Mr. Shurden was born in Mississippi on December 31st, 1943 to the late Newman Shurden and Mazell Shurden.

Mr. Shurden enjoyed many different types of sports, but especially Auburn University Football. He also enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He was a family man who loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Shurden will be private.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Shurden, Lanett; sons, Tyrone Shurden, Lanett, Terry Justin Smith, Lanett; daughter, Angel Lynn Smith, Lanett; sisters, Barbara and Evelyn; brothers, Tommy and Buddy Shurden.
