Phillip is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jane, and his children, Catherine (Matt) Radtke of Little Rock, AR, Jason Moon of Marathon, FL, and Josh (Amanda) Moon of West Point, GA. Phillip will be lovely remembered by his eight grandchildren, Lily Radtke, Tucker Radtke, Charlie Radtke, Bryson Moon, Luke Moon, Henry Moon, Woody Moon, and Alice Moon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Moon, and grandchildren Jack Radtke and Madison Radtke.

Phillip was born on February 21st, 1949 in Langdale, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University with both an undergraduate and master’s degree in Civil Engineering. He married his wife Jane in 1973. In October of 1978, he began his own company, P. F. Moon and Company, which has been a regional leader in the waste water treatment industry for the past forty years. He was actively involved with Boy Scouts of America, receiving the Silver Beaver Award for his dedication and many years of service. He was committed to Auburn University’s Engineering program and served as a guest professor for a number of years. Phillip is remembered fondly by members of the high school youth Sunday school class he instructed at West Point United Methodist Church.

Phillip will be remembered by family and friends as an entrepreneur, engineer, teacher, contractor, gentleman-farmer, rancher, pilot, husband, and father, but his greatest joy was as a grandfather.
