Mr. Virlyn Marvin Richardson, 82 of Valley, Alabama passed away on May 25, 2019 at his residence in Valley. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held announced at a later date by the family. His ashes will be buried in Hill Crest Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama.

Mr. Richardson was a native of Randolph County Alabama. He was born on November 13, 1936, the son of the late James Hardy Richardson and Bernice Brown Richardson of Valley, Alabama. He was a Baptist by faith and had worked in the textile industry at West Point Pepperell.

He is survived by his brother, Larry Gene Richardson (wife, Patricia) of Woodland, Alabama and a host of nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Kimberly Wilkerson of Valley, Alabama.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, James Tyrone of Sharpsburg, Ga (ex-wives, Myra & Joan), George Tillman (wife, Mary) of Wedowee, Alabama, Benny Richardson (ex-wife, Clara) of Bremen, Ga; Ilene Cates ( husband, Archie) of Sequin, TX, Barbara Danford (husband, Bobby) of Valley, Alabama.
