Mrs. Bobbie Jean Bradley of Valley, AL, 82, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Arbor Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Opelika, AL. She was born on June 15, 1935 in Chilton County, AL to the late Rev. Leonard Hand and the late Ola Pearl Deason Hand (Albea).
Bobbie married Whit Bradley, Sr. in 1965. They were happily married for 52 years. Bobbie was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Valley for 52 years. She was a homemaker and church secretary before retiring.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Dr. Benny C. Hand, Sr.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Whit Bradley, Sr. of Opelika, AL, and their four children, Shelia Woodall (Eric) of Notasulga, AL; Whit Bradley, Jr. (Robin) of Valley, AL; Sharon Ezell (Mike) of Beulah, AL; Cherie Cline (Jerry) of Cherryville, NC; seven grandchildren, Steve Sanders, Whitney & Blake Bradley, B. J. Wallace, Jared, Kaci, & Adam Cline, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM EST from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Grantham & Rev. Tim Bass officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST at the funeral home.
