Mrs. Doris M. Engelman

Mrs. Doris M. Engelman, age 77, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 31^st, 2018 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. 

Mrs. Engelman was born on June 2^nd, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Samuel Jacob Baran and Celia Beskin Baran.

She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star for many years.  She was a member of Temple Israel in Columbus, Georgia for over 40 years.

She is survived by her husband, Roger J. Engelman; son, Scott (Michelle) Engelman, Opelika; grandchildren, Blake Engelman, Auburn, Samantha Engelman, Opelika; brother, Mark Baran, Burke, Virginia; daughter, Robin Helton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3^rd, 2019 at 4:00P.M. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with interment following in Johnson Memorial Gardens.  Rabbi Beth Schwartz officiating.  Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00P.M. EST until 8:00P.M. EST.
