Mrs. Linda Diane Manley, age 69, of Valley, passed away on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.

Mrs. Manley was born Carrollton, Georgia on January 17th, 1949 to the late Carl Leonard Shoemake and Mary Janice Bohannon Shoemake.   She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Randall Smith; brother, Dwight Shoemake.

Mrs. Manley was a kind and caring person, often sitting with and helping those who were sick or elder to her.  She was a loving lady who took care of her family and friends.

She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and collecting angels.  She had a special love for animals.

Mrs. Manley is survived by her husband, Joe Manley, Valley; son, Keith Smith (Tina Hayes); sister, Janice Ann Pearson; brother, Doug (Tammy) Shoemake; grandchildren, Bradley Keith Smith, Jr., Joseph Keith Smith, Ariel Elizabeth Knight, Hope Nicole Taylor, Justin Keith Smith; great-grandchildren, Allison Smith, Kayden Knight, Alex Knight, Stormie Smith, Emily Taylor, Kennedy Taylor, Rosie Taylor;  special friends who were like family, Cynthia Walker and Johnnie Richardson; her fur babies, Chico and Jackie.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in Hillcrest Cemetery.  The Reverend Doug Blackmon officiating.  Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT.
