Mrs. Peggy Edmondson Sanders

Mrs. Peggy Edmondson Sanders, age 76, of West Point, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, October 9^th, 2019 at the LaGrange Hospice in LaGrange, Georgia.

Mrs. Sanders was born in Randolph County, Alabama on November 17^th, 1942 to the late Homer Edmondson and Burty Strickland Edmondson.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Doyle Edmondson.

Mrs. Sanders retired from the West Point Stevens Langdale Mill after 32 years of service.

She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and was an avid Atlanta Braves Baseball fan.

She is survived by her husband, Bobbie D. Sanders, West Point, Georgia; son, Jeff (Becky) Sanders, West Point, Georgia; siblings, D.H. (Sylvia) Edmondson, LaFayette, Alabama, Carol Scott, Five Points, Alabama, Ronnie (Terri) Edmondson, Fredonia, Alabama; grandchildren, Laura Beth Sanders, Scott (Casey) Sanders; great-granddaughter, Camryn Sanders; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11^th, 2019 at 11:00A.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with the Reverend Rusty Letson officiating.  Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00A.M. EDT until the service hour. Interment will be private.
