Ms. Valeria "Vickie" Franklin Kalla

Valeria “Vickie” Franklin Kalla, 61, of Cusseta, passed away on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama.

Vickie was born on September 20, 1956, in Foley, Alabama.

She is survived by her two children, Jeff (Connie) Pouncey and Valeria (John) Sorrells; two sisters, Doris Leamer and Denise (Timmy) Deas; sister-in-law, Barbara Sue Akins; two brothers, Dean (Cindy) Franklin and Jamie (Stephanie) Pressley six grandchildren: Jessica, Hannah, Josh, Brooke, Maddy, and Emma; and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Weston.

Vickie was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Pressley; father, William Franklin; brother, Randall Akins, and brother-in-law, Earl Leamer.

Her family will be accepting friends at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018, from 2:00P.M. EDT until 3:00P.M. EDT.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00P.M.  EDT in the chapel of Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.

 In lieu of flowers, Vickie’s family requests that donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
