Nellie Frances Oliver Webb

     Mrs. Nellie Frances Oliver Webb, age 97, of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at her residence.

     Mrs. Webb is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ann Webb Hogan of Valley, AL; her three grandchildren, Stephanie (Kenneth) Dunaway of Oklahoma, Natalie Saxon (fiancé Joseph Chester) of Valley, AL, and Colby John Hogan of Valley, AL; five grandchildren including one who lived with her, Gabriel Isiah Franks; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Webb; and her parents, Joe Buck Oliver and Ethel Pilkington Oliver. Mrs. Webb was born on June 29th, 1920 in Lanett, AL. She had been a member of Langdale United Church since the 1960’s. She was a graduate of Lanett High School and was employed by West Point Pepperell for about 20 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who is gone but not forgotten.

     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Darren White officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2615 64th BLVD, Valley, AL 36854, in her memory.
